An ever popular spring onion, very quick growing, with silvery skin and mild flavour. Sow in succession March-early May, and in August or early September to overwinter. No thinning required. RHS Award of Garden Merit winner.
Sow March to May in broad drills liberally, but not too thickly, into finely raked firmed soil at a depth of 13mm in rows 30 cm apart. Germination takes 18-24 days. No thinning is necessary. Bulbs will get quite large if allowed to mature. May be sown August to September for spring cropping under cloches. Grows best in well prepared soil manured in the previous autumn. Water freely during periods of dry weather.

Click & Collect
Click and collect is available at our store in Holsworthy, Devon from Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:30pm and Saturday 8:30am - 4:00pm.
Returns
Items can be returned to us for a refund or exchange within 28 days of receiving them, if they are unsuitable or no longer required. Simply let us know that you would like to return the goods within 14 days of delivery. You then have up to 14 days to return the product to us.
