Suttons Perpetual Spinach Leaf Beet

Excellent on dry soils where annual spinach would run to seed quickly. Hardy and useful for autumn and winter dishes. RHS Award of Garden Merit winner. Great beginner variety.

Sow thinly into finely raked, warm, moist, weed free soil at a depth of 13mm in rows about 30cm apart. Germination takes 12-20 days. Thin seedlings to 20cm between plants. Grows best in rich soil containing plenty of organic matter. Water freely during hot weather. Pick continously to promote fresh growth.
Sowing -> Cropping – 12-14 weeks.
