Suttons Lupin Seeds – Gallery Mix

A superb selection bearing robust spikes in a range of bright shades. Sow early spring for first year flowering. Traditional cottage garden favourite. Ornamental foliage and stems of closely packed small flowers in early summer. Handsome border plants.

Sow thinly in pots or trays in a propagator on a windowsill or in a greenhouse in quality, finely sieved, moist compost at approx. 15C, 6.5mm deep. Transplant resulting seedlings spacing them out 5cm apart in trays and grow on. Plant out 45cm apart. Alternatively, sow thinly direct into finely raked, moist warm, weed-free soil, 6.5mm deep. Thin seedlings by degrees to a final spacing of 45cm. Soaking seed overnight in water may improve germination.
