Suttons Broad Bean Aqadulce Claudia

Sow directly into soil prepared by digging and raking at a depth of 50mm spacing seeds 20cm apart. Best sown alternately in double rows allowing 34cm between the lines forming each row. Allow 60-90cm between further rows. Germination takes 7-21 days. Can also be sown in pots or trays of ocmpost on a windowsill or in a green house for eventual outside planting. Grows best in a sheltered site, but not shaded in well drained soil. Pinching out tips helps to prevent attacks of blackfly. Water well during dry weather to aid flower setting and bean formation.
