The loyal companion of the border spade, it shares the same dimensions, so perfectly suited to borders in amongst plants. Its tines are pointed for better soil penetration, great for lifting plants and breaking up the soil.

These tools feature the longer stronger Lipped Socket that is unique to Greenman Garden Tools designed by Adam’s Great Grandfather. The main benefit of this socket is that it allows the wood a degree of flex whilst offering support and increasing the strength of the tool. It’s also longer than usual, again adding strength but also means less bending is required. All these tools feature our sustainable Ash handles, the digging tools have filled YD Ash handles which offer great comfort and support as well as completing the traditional feel and look. The heads are made with a high carbon content mirror polished stainless steel for strength as well as offering minimal soil adhesion.
