Medium green pointed pods in pairs, each containing 9-11 peas. Resistant to downy mildew and Fusarium Wilt; recommended for exhibition. RHS Award of Garden Merit winner. Second-Early/Maincrop Variety.
Sow thinly direct into soil prepared by digging and raking at a depth of 50mm in flat drills 15cm wide in two rows with seed approx 5cm apart. Germination takes 7-10 days. Allow 75cm between further rows. SUpport plants with twiggy stricks or pea netting. Grows best in a sunny position in well cultivated soil contianing plenty of well rotted manure or compost. Resistant to Downy Mildew and Fusarium Wilt. Sow in small batches in sucession every two-three weeks for continous supply.
