Incorporated in Portugal on October 11, 1969, Cordex roots and origin can be traced as far back as the beginning of the 1960s.

Cordex main focus was the production of agricultural sisal twine which is still produced to this day. They are the only manufacturer to make all 4 crop wrap products.
